Aconcagua

Shortly after I finished my most recent tour in Baghdad, I embarked on another trip in order to put Iraq behind me. I decided to go to Argentina and take part in another mountain expedition. This time I set out to climb Aconcagua (22,841 ft.), the highest point on earth outside of the Himalayas. It was a challenge like none other and one that I will always remember. mountain view.JPG

Summit

Below are a few photos from the summit. I would have never made it to the top without my guide Hector Ponce De Leon, a living legend in the mountain climbing community. He was with me every step of the way. I would strongly recommend him to anyone who is considering a similar or more rigorous expedition.hector and mts.JPG
